Man's Wedding Blog- Update

We haven't checked in with our friend over at the Manly Wedding Blog in a while.  Seems his wedding planning is coming along fabulously...one sarcastic comment at a time.

I did a blog about wedding superstitions a bit ago.  My superstitions were cute and charming...here are some that the Manly Blogger found:

Apparently in Denmark, the bride and groom cross-dressed to confuse evil spirits.

South African parents used to carry fire from their homes to light the home of the newlywed couple.

If there are two sisters and the young sister gets married first, the older sister has to dance barefoot at the younger sisters wedding or else die alone.

“If you can persuade a cat to eat out of your left shoe one week before the wedding good luck will bless your married life.”

If candles lit on the wedding day splutter and go out it means those evil spirits are nearby, waiting to cause mischief.

In Holland, a pine tree is planted outside the newlyweds’ home as a symbol of fertility and luck.

So if your having a bad day and need a pick me up check out the full blog- www.manlyweddingblog.com
